Finally have some funds saved up to invest into the first mod for my new 2019 Classic. Looking at a set of front coilovers and rear shocks to improve off-road capabilities. I've been looking at the more expensive 2.5 diameter options, specifically Kings as Fox doesn't seem to have much availability right now, Icons don't come with reservoirs, and Radflos are a bit more costly. In doing my research, everyone cites improvements in high speed off road desert driving which is not something I will likely ever be doing as I live on the east coast. I'm trying to build a rig that will be able to tackle easy and moderate trails (don't mind being a bit overbuilt for the occasion) but won't be speeding through desert whoops any time soon. With that in mind, will I notice any significant increase in performance between a set of King 2.5's vs Fox 2.0's for my application? I want to maintain or increase on road ride quality while also making my truck more capable enough to tackle trails without having to worry about reliably which is never cheap. Other recommendations are welcome but I've excluded certain brands based on availability (Bilstein 6112).
