Hi I haven't been able to find any posts with my problem yet.
2017 Ram 1500, dual climate control
I can feel cold air coming into the cab on both passenger and driver side floor (not blowing from the floor vents, actual airflow from the outside it seems)
Driver side:
No floor heat (blows strong just cold), upper vents blow heat and work fine, defrost isnt as hot and does not blow as strong as the passenger side.
Passenger side works fine
When I turn on recirculation mode I can hear the fan blow harder on the passenger side but no change to the driver side.
Any ideas?
Thanks

The fan is located on the passenger side, that why it sounds louder there, being this is a 2017 have you changed the cabin air filter? It's located behind the glove box.

How solid is the cab?

The corners might just be rotted out, that would cause airflow when driving

(Had the same issue with my superdookie, but sure made running wiring into the cab a breeze)

I had a similar problem with my 2015 Big Horn with cold air entering the cabin. I tracked it down to an some sort of an opening underneath the floor console. However, by feeling around with my hand it seemed like air was entering via the driver door bottom seal (and when I had a passenger they thought it was coming from the passenger door bottom seal.) I figured it was the floor console because it was the arm rest on top was always cold in the winter and if I placed my hand in between the seats and the console I could feel cold air. My theory was that there was weather stripping or a gasket missing where the console bolted to the floor but since the vehicle was leased I never bothered with fixing it.

My 2018 Big Horn, which I own, does not have this problem.

Thanks for the replies sorry been busy. New air filter, cab is solid no rust or anything like that, there’s no specific spot the air is coming in at but I can feel constant cool air coming in with warmish air coming from the vent.
I’m now only getting any type of heat when recirc mode is on, it seems like everytime I get in my truck it does something different honestly

No idea why you're getting air in from the outside, but if you're not getting heat through the vents (or only getting it on one side) you've likely got a clogged heater core. Tons of threads about this on the forum. It's quite common.

Yea thanks I’ve been reading about that too, it’s just really weird I do alot of highway driving for work and I’ve noticed when I take a curve to the right I get more heat coming through and when I curve left it’s colder in the cab, some drives I have more heat than others. It’s just really weird to me but I’ll check that out more thanks
