Cold Air Intake Concerns

Hey all
I have a 2018 6.4 L and i put a cold air intake on. I now have a lot of black soot inside the tail pipe is this Normal. It is a Flowmaster 615112. Thanks for the help

Black soot would indicate running rich I believe. Might be you're getting a good bit more air and the computer is trying to counter the "lean" (more air) condition with extra gas.

Going outside shortly. I'll do a colonoscopy on my '17 2500 6.4. I've been running a K&N CAI for 2+ yrs. thru a MF Cat back exhaust.
