I got the Mopar CAI, haven't installed yet on my stock truck. Regardless if it doesn't do much to a stock truck it looks great. I got a good deal on mine that why I got but not sure I would have paid full price for it. It is expensive for sure. Also, I like to keep things as close to OEM as possible.

I have the Volant kit(with the Donaldson air filter) . I like how the scoop brings in air from in front of the vehicle.

That system will insure total destruction of the engine due to water ingestion here in Houston's tropical downpours due to the air intake position!

We’ve done track tests on the same day/tune trucks back to back to back.

S&B/Mopar/Vararam were all .3-.4 seconds quicker in the quarter mile than the OEM box so any other application is irrelevant.

Or you can do what I do when I go off road or I know there is going to be a lot of water and just remove the ram air tube. It takes less than 5 minutes...

I like the Vararam AirGrabber when I had my Rebel. It did eat some snow during big storms though. Never enough to cause an issue though.

Save your money! As designed the air boxes pull cool air in from the fender area. These companies stating increased horsepower are really selling snake oil. It’s like putting on a louder exhaust, it sounds cool but for the possible 3 hp gain you “might” see, figure the cost per hp and tell me if it’s worth it. Your vehicle as designed will develop a few more hp in 40 degree weather. Wait til it’s colder and enjoy those extra 3hp! LOL! Honestly, the only thing you WILL do is take 500.00 of your hard earned money and give it to someone else.

Vararam. Added benefit, it frees up the passenger side to put in a second battery for the upgraded stereo system!!

I agree-my stock HEMI is pretty impressive for me-I know many want more HPs -but I know itll just get me in trouble testing new mods out. I am still smiling when I merge onto the highway in stock.

Buy the bottom half air box, and snorkel for the eco diesel. Uses the same air filter but the air intake size is about 50% larger . $90 and your.done

Ive used S&B on my 2019 Ram 1500 with 5.7L e-torque motor and love it. Ive also used Volant on a previous truck Ive owned and liked that one too... recommend the S&B however for $$$ reasons. they are cheaper than Volant and great build quality.
