First time doing this - VERY easy mod for those that want to set off their projectors just a bit more. :naughty:

For this set - I wanted these to "show" red, so you paint the cutoff shield and you are set!

Here's the shield removed from the projector:

and painted (with red caliper paint!)

DANG IT!!! i would have done mine black! lol oh well

I didn't stumble onto the "mod" until the other night...........didn't want to say anything until I knew that it worked. Black would be pretty slick too!

so what will be the color of the light coming out?

doesn't change the light at all. This is on the front of the shield, so light doesn't even hit it.

Wow those red and black ones are hot!!!!

Oh, they aren't done yet. :********: (more to come, not just stickin' a lens back on them yet!)

Well........LOL - on the larger shrouds, you can put CCFL angel eyes behind the shroud.......so it shines through the holes. And you can put them on the front. You know.....if you are into that kind of thing.

oooooooooooooooo...... me want, me want BAD!!!!!

Wife told me today that I gotta "drastically slow the **** down" on the lights. I told her that any current quotes that were out - if the customer bit, I'd do them ASAP. If not.......I'll wait for the new year. LOL I think the last 5-6 weekends have been headlight weekends. :killer: I enjoy it - but its hard on the wife and kids. I don't get it.........I don't think she understands yet that the GB and the others I have done will fully pay for our Christmas (and the princess's Christmas too!) well...........most of it anyway.
