Anyone running a compressor on their Ram? I am considering doing this for a few reasons. #1, I want horns! :********: and #2, in the event I needed to change a tire or something...would be much easier with air tools.

Show me what you've got!

I've got a compressor with a tank. Don't really have any pictures. But it's sitting in the stock air box spot. I'll take some tomorrow.

Would you be looking at only a compressor?

I didn't mount my tank in the bed because I didn't want to lose bed space. But that's all personal preference.

Plus you could probably get a nice little box all fabbed up to make it look good. Haha. Well. I'll say, I have a 150 PSI compressor. 2 gal tank. And 4 horns. It's loud. Just so you know for the train horn set up. If I could do it again. I'd build my own kit. Instead of buying one.

I have a Viair 480 C compressor,200psi.I agree that a 5 gallon would be good if you want to run air tools off it or to inflate a tire.I have a 1.5 gallon and the compressor mounted in the air dam.Didn`t want the tank in the bed or drill any holes. Call mypushcart.com and ask for Sam.Tell him you know me.I did a GP last year for someone and 10 sets a few years ago on a forum GP. 520.572.2220

Sam can put together the hose ,fittings and pressure switch you need. For maximum db go with 1/2" line not 1/4" as most people do.It pays to get all the stuff in one place. If you have an issue you can go back and get any support you need.Sam is great about getting the stuff out fast and at a good price.
