I noticed today that I'm getting condensation in the lower part of my headlights. I recently installed a new set of HIDs and I decided to drill the hole in the back and use the rubber grommet they supply (instead of just crushing the wires like Iv'e done before). I've been trying to find the back covers for the headlights to just replace them but either I missed them on the mopar site or they don't sell them. Anyone have any idea where I can get new ones or how to fix this?

Silicone sealant around the grommet maybe? Did you squish the little vents on to tight maybe maybe while installing the HID's?

I thought about sealing it with silicone, I think it would probably work. I'd still like to find new covers if possible though.

I can't find a part number either. Maybe try calling AllMopar or your dealer? They sell the clip you'd think you could get the cover too?

I have a feeling they probably only sell it with the whole headlight but I'll swing by the dealer tomorrow and ask.

I did the same thing u did when installing my lights. Drilled holes. All u need to do is use a little rtv or silicone and seal the holes. 4$ at any store and done.

Thanks, I'll do it tomorrow. I have 3m weatherstrip adhesive laying around from another project I think it would work well.

Thanks for the tip. I'll make sure to do it early since it rains here every afternoon.

Picked up some black silicone sealant at auto zone today for about $6 and sealed the grommets. I'm sure it will rain tomorrow again so we'll see what happens!

Rofl well I filled the center part of the grommet with that 3m weatherstrip adhesive I had, I installed them and then covered the back with the silicone. It will have to be some kind of ninja condensation to get in there!

I just got ram and live in livingston. Hopefully I'll see you around. I'm really curious to see how the aftermarket HID's look when paired with these housings.
