Console lid mod you might like

My dog has a tendency to stand on the console with her front paws on the console if its raining and the side window is up...or if its hot and she wants to get closer to the A/C vents. I didn't want her damaging the console lid so I made this...Note...it helps when the wife has an industrial embroidery machine in the basement.

Thanks its for protection from scratches or a possible hole so that when I traded in down the line the original lid will still be in good shape plus I like to have things personalized to make it mine

Actually we have 2 machines...I do custom embroidered motorcycle run patches, poker runs head rests and more...she taught me the embroidery program and when she got her new machine said ..now don't touch mine, use your own ! She is much better at the actual upholstery .. I don't have the patience for it. She even gave be a piece of her website to sell guy stuff themed embroidery.. RalphsCorner

Had to pull the 2 piece lid top off and separate the top 2 sections...this being marine grade leather like vinyl it had to be upholster on sandwiched between the 2 sections of the top lid. I see ones on e-bay that stretch on like a toilet cover...to be that too cheesy.
