My truck:
2014 RAM 2500 ST CREW CAB 4X4 Diesel.
Original tradesman.
I’ve swapped in heated/cooled seats and heated wheel from a ‘13 Laramie (gas). My original switch had the trailer brake, traction control, and tow/haul.
I got the control switch from the donor truck that has:
trailer brake
Traction control
Tow/haul
and one labeled “Tire light load inflation”
On the bottom row of the module it has:
Heated for driver seat
Cool for driver seat
Heat for wheel
Cool for passenger seat
Heat for passenger seat
What it doesn’t have is the exhaust brake button.
My question is this: I do tow my 22’ boat and other loads occasionally but not on any steep grades to speak of. Do I really need the module that has the exhaust brake on it?
Thx!

you want to run your exhaust brake as much as possible. Keeps it from sticking and will help you save your brakes in normal day driving.
