I have the Discoverer ATP, which I believe is just another AT3 LT and love them. When it comes time to replace/upgrade I’ll be getting a set of the XLTs.

I ran the Cooper ST Maxx 35/ 12.50/20 on my 16 Ram Cummins 3500 and they only made it 32K before they became very dangerous to drive in the rain. I also plowed snow and they did great for the first 20k then it was like driving with bald tires. I ended up going with the Cooper AT3 XLT's and the ride is way way better then the ST Maxxis in every category. The first two pics are the AT3 XLT's and the third pic is the ST Maxx

I have the A T 4 s' on my 2014 Ram and on my wife's Tacoma. Primary driving is rock roads on the mountain and interstate. Winter performance is very good in snow and truly outstanding on ice and packed snow. Wear and damage resistance on rock roads has been excellent and these are used daily and year round. Highway noise is very low. These will be my goto choice.

I have a set of XLT's, 295-70-18, on 2500 CC, and I love, 2 days after I bought my truck we got some snow and I could not get any traction with my Firestones and went and had some XLT's put on and now I have great traction, also the great thing about this size is they have a 4080 lbs load range, the other sizes in this series are only around 3650.

I just put on Cooper STT Pro’s 295/65R20 and I love them. Not too bad road noise and the grip on pavement and off is excellent. Really makes the truck look and feel great. Plus excellent load rating so I run them 50psi front and 40 rear unloaded.

Wish I would have started this thread earlier before I bought my coopers st maxx. Was hoping for at least 40k out of that tire. I guess at 6k a year i won't have to worry about it for a few years.

I have Cooper St Maxx tires on my Chevy 2500HD so far they have 5000 miles on them and only 1 to 2 32nds worn. So I think I can at least 40,000 miles out of them. I'm going with Cooper at3 xlt on the Ram when I change tires sometime soon.

Those are the Limited specific wheels. I also have run both the ST Maxx and AT3 XLT tires in 35x12.5r20's. The ST's wore well for the first half of their life and then seemed to deteriorate rapidly. In in the end I had about 30k on the tires and could have gotten another 5-10k if I ran them all to the wear bars. But with winter approaching I didn't feel like taking a chance.

Honestly I do miss the look of the ST Maxx over the AT3's. The AT's are much quieter and have very good road manners. Haven't had enough winter weather yet to give an honest assessment of the AT3 in snow. In my experience the ST's did very well in the snow but not so well in more icy conditions. Considering he lack of siping that probably makes sense.

Don't think you could go really wrong with either tire. In comparison to the BFG KO2 which wore down to the bars in less than 20k.

I absolutely loved my ST MAXX's on my old truck, low road noise, yet you can run 60+ mph all day in 2-3 inches of snow. Got about 35k miles of hard usage out of the set.

Hi all, just put a set of the new AT3s on my 15 2500 4x4 and love them. I did have to change the TPMS settings to run the correct pressure for unloaded truck, but they are quiet and better riding then the stock tires before. I live in the desert and the traction in lose sand is also better. I have noticed a slight drop in MPGs , but the wear is much better with the lower pressure.

I would say the ST Maxx. I had a set on my Silverado and they were awesome. I would have ran them on my RAM when the factory tires died. but I got too good of a deal on some Nitto ridge grapplers to pass up.

I have had the AT3's on other vehicles and liked them. I do not drive off-road. Mostly normal driving with the winter white stuff too. Also tow a 9000lb boat a few times a year. Currently still have my factory Firestones on but my son replaced his Firestones with K02's at 13,000 miles cause he kept getting stuck in the mud at the job site. So far he likes the K02's but they were $400 each (his company paid for them).
I only put about 5000-6000 miles a year on my truck so will be awhile before I need to replace them.
