I am new to this forum, and I would love to get an answer to my tire question, I bought a set of cooper discoverer st maxx 275 65r20, and I wanted to know how much psi people were running in this larger tire. The truck door jam says 39 psi, but do I keep following that since I got bigger tires

Best thing to do is see what psi they will wear evenly at. You can do a chalk test to figure that out.

I ran mine at 42 which seemed to be a good balance for wear and driveability.

The door jamb sticker psi rating is based on the stock tires.

What is the psi rating on the tire sidewall? That will give you a range to work with. It is, as Csanders1992 said, a bit of an experiment.
