anyone cover or paint their rocker panels and have some pictures to share, trying to decide how high to go up.

just the actual rocker or go up to the crease in the door

I used Bushwhacker rocker guards and the only went up to the bottom of the doors.

I couldn't find them for the new body style they list only classic

Yeah, that's what's crappy...I really liked them on my 18 Bighorn.

I did PPF for full length of truck up to the line in the door. You can’t see it.

Yeah trying to decide on clear or black.

I've read the PPF is hard to work with , yes? No?

I paid about $500 bucks to have some pros do it. I wouldn’t trust myself with that large of an application.

I called a couple line X places...:buttkick:

Any where from 800 to 1000 to coat the rocker panels... I asked they how much to do the bed was told 500.. they said more labor for a rocker.. no way..

I’ve heard line-x on the rockers is a problem cause one moisture gets in it is trapped and will actually accelerate corrosion. But I don’t know if that’s actually true or not. I had it on my third gen with no issue.

Probably the way I'm gonna go.

I used Herculiner on a old jeep cherokee we had and it out lasted the vehicle, only problem was it turned a very dull dingy looking black as the years went on
