Sold my Eco and sealed the deal on a 2014 2500 Laramie yesterday. 6.7L, 2WD, 5,000 miles on the ticker. It is certified already and includes 7yr/100K powertrain warranty (from the original sale date, 12/13 in my case), so I've got powertrain warranty until 12/20. They are offering me bumper to bumper coverage for that same timeline for an additional $2100. (no wear items, $100 deductible).
Now, my Eco had zero problems really outside of check engine light annoyances, and I barely put 5,000 miles a year on my truck. I know virtually anything can break at anytime, but how often do all these bells and whistles fail on these Laramies? I'm a wrench by trade, but if these things are plagued with failures, $2100 doesn't seem like a bad deal as some of these parts can add up real quick.
Thanks in advance,
