I want to replace the crank position sensor on my 1993 D250, 5.2L auto. I have found the wiring pigtail for it but can neither see nor feel with my hand the sensor itself, neither from above or underneath the vehicle. There's no clearance for a tool.
Is there a method to replace the sensor other than lower the engine/trans. assembly to gain clearance from the firewall?
