I am thinking it is time to change out my CSPS, because there is no sound when attempting to turn over my motor (dead -- no sound). As it looks right now, the ignition switch seems to be okay (seems). I would like to ask my Dodge Brothers how hard is it to change it out? I know in the past, it can be challenging; from changing one out on a jeep Cherokee. Is this an item that should be changed at a local service garage? Will I need special tools to do it? Beside learning how to do yoga (to fit myself inside the motor), is there anything else I should be aware of? Any information will help --- thank you

Crank position sensor isn't hard at all to replace. I just did mine yesterday actually. Can't remember the size but i used an Allen wrench from above (i can get the size tonight) and it was easy that way. Tired going from below but to much stuff in the way. Pull air box and laid on the core support and fan shroud. The hardest part will be that is uncomfortable and getting the connector hooked up once it's in. Btw is behind the passenger side head on the bell housing

Now if you're trying to stay the truck and is not even cranking you have another problem. If crank sensor goes it will still crank but the injectors won't fire and there will be no ignition. I'd start with checking battery connections, fuses, wires going to starter etc
