Hi everyone, my 2018 ram 1500 has had a creaking type noise behind the dash after I shut if off since the day I bought it. The truck is almost out of warranty, so I felt the need to address it. One dealership thinks if is stripped gears on an HVAC actuator. Another dealership tells me everything is working correctly an no action is needed. Has anyone else had this type of noise. Searched on the forums an it seems 50% say its normal, and 50% say its not.

Any advise/insight would be greatly appreciated. I will try to post a video of the noise. Thank you!'t"

Turns out that the video I took is too large and can't be uploaded, however, I did find this on youtube which is the same noise.

It sounds less like a creaking and more like something slipping and catching in quick succession.

Is the sound repeatable on demand? What triggers the sound?

Sounds like the actuators/solenoids kendo door actuators whatever you wanna call it are binding/stripped.
