Well here it is, the internets first review of a Crown Suspension product...

OK Not sure if thats true but after a decent amount of searching all i found was threads of people asking about the their stuff but no real answers. Well I offered my truck and safety to science and took the plunge on a not so well known product...

I would also like to mention that I am in no way affiliated with Crown suspension nor was I compensated in any way for this review.

My truck is a 2012, and I bought it a few weeks ago with a 2" or 3" drop in the rear (Im not sure maybe you all could help). It seemed to me the front alwways looked higher than the rear and it drove me crazy. And this is where my quest to fix it has led me.

Heres their website

The link to where i bought the springs

Springs showed up in about 5 days. Shipping weight was 33Lbs. Im no expert but they seem well made and are pretty beefy. Thicker than stock as you can see below.

Everyone loves stickers, right?

Stock on left, Crowns on right. Look to be a little les than an entire coil shorter.

Tried to capture the thicknes difference of the two.

Gap was right at 5" before and when it was all over it was about 3.75" so got about 1.25" inches total

Truck as i bought it...

I got it put together just in time for a 200 mile trip. No problems with installation, fit right in. Rides exactly like stock, no creeks, rattls or clunks so far. Stance is exactly what I was looking for. So far i would have to say Crown suspension is a legit company that makes a good product. Would I buy from them again...Yes. Would I recomend them...Yes, as of right now since I only put about 220 miles on them since i installed them.

Thanks for reading, hopefully I can make up some minds if anyone was on the fence about purchasing from this company. I will gladly answer any question if there are any.

Update if anyone really wants to know...

After about a week and a little over 600 miles I nearly forget that I ever changed the springs. ride seems to not have changed at all since i got the truck. Wheel gap is still 3.75" hasnt sunk at all since they were installed. Feeling a lot more confident in the buy and would recommend these to anyone who asks.

Glad to hear it! Truck did look saggy. I'd guess PO hacked the stock coils.

Thanks!

I keep telling myself im gonna jack it up and get under the rear and see whats going on under there but i keep occupying myself with other areas of the truck. I feel like the rear could be a little softer with only a couple inches of drop.

Snapped this pic at work today, both trucks have same tires. Subtle difference...

So you bsdically have a 1"/3" drop on your truck?

or what is your entire suspension composed of?

Yep, 1"/3" is what I got. Bought it with rear already dropped (not sure how it was done) but wasn't even. Back was lower than front. I just installed front springs to even it out

Dude! you have pretty much the drop I want. I was looking at a 2/2, 1/2, 1/3 and wasn't sure. Thanks for taking the plunge and sharing. Also noticed you are from Louisiana also. Should have figured a truck that looks that good was from La.

Ha, thanks man. I think this makes the truck sit perfect (in my eyes). And us Lowsianians do take pride in our vehicles, that's for sure

Good now I don't have to cut coils to lower the front more with the 2/4

I know this is a really old post but are you still happy with the Crown springs long term? Any complaints? Has anyone else tried these?
