Does anyone have any first had experience with Crown Suspension front lowering springs on a RCSB 2WD truck? Their website list the same spring for all cabs except the MegaCab. If I use a 3" drop spring on a RCSB will I get an actual 3" drop or will it be less because its 3" for the heavier CrewCab trucks?

I tried reaching out to them via Email, Facebook Message and called on Monday with no answer...

I was thinking about going with the new Moe's Performance coilover setup but it uses the IHC control arms which increases the overall cost of the drop .... so I think I'm just going to order the springs and see what happens …. hope for the best.... that it's an actual 3" drop on a RCSB ...

I'm definitely interested in how this comes out for you. Im just doing the 2" belltech springs, but want to go down another inch. I also have a regular cab. Im thinking I may just cut mine half a coil like I read about. I was also interested in the coilover but if you gotta replace the control arms then id rather not as well.

You're like 30 minutes (2 hours in Cali traffic - hahaha) from Crown Suspension at 1371 Titan Way, Brea, CA 92821

I was trying to ask them whats the spring rate (pounds per inch) and how many coils there are in the front springs... they never answer the phone or Facebook messenger.... I heard not so great things about their customer service.....

Well anyway, I ordered them on the evening of July 16th... I'll keep this thread updated...

I didn't know they were close to where I live. lol. Doesn't sound like great customer service if they cannot answer a phone. Good luck with the springs. Keep us posted with pics. I'll drive down to the shop and get mad at them for you. hahahaha

I’m running the Crown 3” front drop springs on my 2014 reg cab with the stock control arms (up front) - I ended up cutting 1/2” off the driver side and 3/4” from pass side to get both sides at this height. Previously, I had cut Belltech springs on before that brought it down a touch lower, but it was enough that my tires (245/45/22) would hit the inner wheel well liner on bumps...

Looks great. So you cut the Crown springs to level the front, left to right, not just to lower it a little more?
I was planning on running the Nitto NT420V in 304/45/R22 that specs at 32.8 inches tall versus the OE tires at 32.1 inches tall ...

That stance looks perfect. Since you needed to cut down the Crown springs, would you accomplished the same if you had trimmed down your existing 2" belltech springs? I was hoping we wouldn't need to cut the Crown springs. I may just cut my Belltech springs if that's the case. How far are you lowered in the back and whats your setup back there? Stance looks perfect

Had Belltech 2”/4” struts broke kept the springs and put back original struts no issues.
I stuffed 295/65r20 (35”)and had to change ball joints to Moog to get alignment right. Corrected rub on drivers side by rerouting harness and bend over metal seam also heat liner. Barely rubs. Bump stops need to be replaced
If I had to start over would have went with Moes/IHC and left 33” tire though I love the look of Michelin 35” M&S

I had Belltech springs in before, but ended up cutting too much, which is why I swapped to the Crown springs (just happen to still have them from a prior experiment.

No, I only needed to cut about a 1/4” on pass side to get them even. The additional 1/2” cut what to get them lower.
