    2016 ram 1500.

Just over 363xx miles and yesterday I pushed the cruise control button and nothing happened. Didn't display(turn on) did a quick Google search and tried turning it off and back on. Still wouldn't work. One suggestion on google was to hit the side of the steering wheel. And wahala it's working again.

Guessing a loose cable or something. Just knew something would crap out soon as the factory warranty ended .

I have the same issue. I'm told that they need to remove the airbag and install a new switch on the steering wheel. If I press kinda hard in the top left hand corner it works just fine....

I'll try that if it happens again. Seems to be a pretty common problem. Was hoping it would just be something loose I could tighten up.

Its a bad switch in some form or another. Best of luck to you.

My 2016 had the same issues you are having. They performed that recall and I never had the issue again.
