WOW, Wayy Back thread machine is up and running.
For the record, I STILL Love these mirrors.
They truly are one of those things one buys, promptly forgets about because they use it so much.
It is an integrated, daily part of your Life and so fundemental that it;s taken for granted, until something brings it to you attention, like this thread.
OR HORROR, one gets ripped, for some reason.
For those who have mirror slide?
Probably did not get a good seal, when installed.
Simply remove the mirror. go pick up some double backed sticky foam adhesive .
remove old adhesive from mirror, clean both the backside fo teh mirror and the face of the mirror where it will go, with paint thinner os some such, then re-apply.
Mine had not moved since I put it on, years ago.
Kind of like door molding , rtunning lengthwise down a door side. dsame foam adheive and they stay for decades.
