Hey dudes, just got my custome grille piece from CustomCarGrille's.com! Im stoked, it's a big enough piece, that I an do all 4 inserts for the grille, and will still have enough to remove that ugly black plastic piece from my front end, and throw a grille insert in there! SHibby! Lets the fabrication begin! It's a 24X48 inch piece by the way, powdercoated black. COst $120 shipped to my front door.

That will look awesome Steven. I just replaced my inserts this past week as well. I'm stoked with the way mine turned out.

Looking forward to the end result, question though, it looks a lot like gutter guard. Is it the same thing?

The grille's they sell are either stainless steel, or aluminum, or they have some in billet. They powdercoated mine black for me. Here's what I got! It's really high quality stuff!

Diamond XXL Grill Mesh Sheets
Raw Material: Aluminum
Raw Thickness: 0.051" / 16 Gauge
Finished Thickness: 0.064" / 14 Gauge
Open Area: ~ 70%

Street scene has some good lookin stuff, but the bumper valance piece alone is $112. I paid $120 for the mesh, and I have enough to make a grille, the valence piece, and then some!

Yeah the grille's done, Im just in the process of taking the bumper off to make the valence. Would have been done already, but my buddy had his going away last night and I was hammered drunk! I lost 3 straight games of beer pong... and we always play 12 cup. BLEH! It was definately hard to walk after that third game lol. But I feel great now, woke up at 6 a.m. Should be done with the valence in a couple hours.

Alright all done! Here's the finished product.

Mesh cut in 2 pieces ; The grille and the valence

Took the grille off

Took the frame bars off

Mock Up of how it will look

Cut to fit, screws installed. Couple of the holes were stripper out, so I bent the mesh under them and wire tied it tight

Reinstalled and finished!

and for the valence...

Took the bumper off

Removed the frame plates

Installed the valence mesh. Bent it to fit, and tucked it between the bumper frame, and the plastic bumper cover.

Top row done, now for the bottom

All finished

Hemi badge reinstalled

All Finished!

... the gutter grille material looked cheap, I didn't like the design, and I wanted a quality poduct. I don't like to half-ass **** on my truck, so I bought some quality stuff.

I'd ike to see a duck go through my grille now! lol I did a very complete and thorough job installing it, and it's really strong stuff, yet still somewhat moldable with a good amount of force.
