Update on 3/20:

I am now working directly with Magnus, who is exceptionally helpful. The experience has been greatly improved and I would recommend working directly with him if you plan on ordering/ need support!

This is my first post here, however, I am a member of many forums. This is one site I browsed for awhile in regards to customtronix jailbreak for the UConnect system...

I sent in a simple question regarding the cable configuration of the harness with the silver kit and received a less than appropriate response from H, Hansson. See below. I do not know how this person knows so much about my skill level, or 'others of my skill level' but this guy can jump off a fu(#ing bridge. I will not be purchasing ANYTHING else from them, and I hope this deters other from purchasing from them as well. Just so were are clear... this is AFTER I have already purchased the Jailbreak Silver...

Hi,

All cables on the harness is marked with labels. But I still recommend not only you,.. but all others with your skill level to use a professional installation service. Cars are very, very expensive and no manufacturer insurance or warranty will cover installations made by unqualified installers.

Most garages have liability insurances that cover a bad installations.

​Can you explain how I would hook up an Apple TV to this? Are the two audio inputs (red and white) tied to one of the video inputs (yellow)? Thanks!

I don't see anywhere in your initial question where you exposed your "skill level" to them. Not that it should matter anyways.

I am going to assume you dealt with Magnus... I received his email ( or one of them as the @ is not customtronix.com) and forwarded him this communication. If anyone has his email or another person higher up, can you PM me it. Thanks!

My intention is to save your car and keep us out of a lawsuit.

We delivers to about 600 car dealers and garages all with certified installers. So far none had asked that question.

Now, suck it up and call your garage and book time for the installation. After all ..what costs one hour of garage time ??? 50, 100 dollars.. what costs your car... 50.000 Dollars??

Does anyone have contact info for someone higher up in the company? I wish I could deal directly with Magnus, he seems like the guy to talk to. Not this ****.

Agreed. I can say some is translation, but at this point, it's beyond that. This was in response to me asking when my stuff will ship and I would get the email with the code to jailbreak...

Just an update... My question has been taken over by Magnus who has been very helpful and prompt! My outlook on Customtronix has changed 10 fold. I would suggest working directly with Magnus if you have questions!
