I'm thinking of getting a Z Automotive Tazer DT with the Browler Fab Shield steel case to encase it. As you may know, the SGW cables plug into the Tazer DT and the Tazer DT Shield is a metal case that encases the Tazer DT and the SGW plugs.

One of the reasons I want the Tazer DT is to force a PIN code entry to drive the truck.

But couldn't a thief just cut the SGW cables that are going into the Tazer DT Shield and drive away?

Or do the SGW cables have to be plugged into the factory SGW socket for the truck to function? I heard on a YT video that if you don't plug the SGW cables into the factory SGW socket, the truck works fine, you just lose your radio presets or something minor.

I’ve had my Tazer for about 6 months now but I haven’t gotten around to getting the case yet. As for the SGW cables not being plugged into factory SGW box I don’t know.
