I've seen a few threads where guys are saying that they have cut their belltech springs. I would love to go a little lower with mine but I'm unsure on where or how much to cut to get more of a 3/5 drop. Post pics if you have done it and what did you do to get it there.

I’m interested in how many coils people cut for a 5” drop in the rear. I been different things. I don’t want to remove the coils 4 times to get it right or cut too much.

Unfortunately every application is going to be a little different, but for every inch of drop on a coil spring(linear rate) you’ll cut half the measured free height. It’s not that simple with the geometry because you’re not keeping the track bar and control arms at the same angles(unless all adjustable) so they fight back.

You can always cut more, little difficult to put back...

Following this thread. I'm lowered 2/4 but want to trim the coils too to bring down another inch to 3/5. I have the no cut relocation brackets but haven't installed them yet. Want to do everything at one time. With new shocks too

To get to 3 inches in the front, I measured 7 1/2 inches around the outside of the coil and marked. I have cut one coil off in the rear and am just at 4 inches in the rear. I cut my coils last June and measured against a stock truck at work last week. I'm planning on cutting one more coil this weekend on the rear. 20190615_160402.jpg20191126_073222.jpg 20191027_151734.jpg

Thanks for the reply! I'll probably do the same with the rear as well. Just to get it a little more level with the front end..

It rides pretty well actually. I have only had a problem at one intersection and that was cuz I caught a light at speed and the air dam rubbed really hard.

I cut one more coil on the rear Friday after work. Here is what it looks like now. Really happy with it.

What's the ride quality like?
It's ok, I did bottom out in the rear on a pretty harsh speed bump. Do need to order some different bump stops for the rear, hopefully can get around to that this weekend.

Have you cut the rear bump stop cups off the frame already ? On my RT, i did that and bolted replacement bump stops directly to the frame. It gave me about another inch
