DASH ABS/ANTI SKID/BRAKE LIGHT IS ALWAYS ON!

2014 Ram 1500…My dash abs/skid/brake light won’t reset or come off my dash lights. I’ve replaced all abs sensors, along with my cruise control switch. Saw videos regarding the sensors. Trying to find out the next step, or direction from the forum. Any help would be really appreciated!!

I believe there is an ABS initialization procedure that must be ran after servicing the system.

Ok, so I guess I have to run it to the dealership, for them to reset it? Hate dealing with the dealership up here. Really appreciate the help feed back.

If you have AlfaOBD you can do it yourself. If you don't already have it, purchasing the app and buying a compatible OBDII adapter will likely be less then the dealership charge for this service and you can use it for loads of other issues like this.

Thanks Again for the assistance in this matter.
But, from what I noticed on his video, he only replaces the black portion of the module, in an effort not to bleed the brakes? Can anyone describe the top black portion of the module? I have a 2014 Ram 1500 and want to find the right part and replace it. However, I will still take your advice and purchase the parts from the amazon site to reset the code if that is the issue prior to purchasing the part.

Hydraulic Control Module. Often the problem is a $2 brush in a $10 electric motor (black box) that can't be bought seperately.

If you are going to buy the OBD dongle, i suggest buying the OBDLINK MX+. IMO This is the best one you can have and comes with a very powerful app that is a great addition to purchasing alfaobd.

I'll pile on and say that when my OBDLink MX broke long after the warranty (pairing button broke off internal board) the company sent me an OBDLink MX+ for free...

Well, I replaced my ABS module but no change in the dash light! Trying to figure out what is the top black portion that connects to the pump called? Not sure if it’s the issue?? Also not sure if the pump that I purchased and replace with the old one is faulty too.
