Hi,
I'm looking for some advice, thoughts, answers etc...im having problems with the dash and the seat belt warning that shows up on the dash. It only happens when I have a passenger in the vehicle but dash will randomly flash driver seat belt unbuckled then front seat unbuckled and go back & forth in between the 2 for whatever it feels...at one time it did it on the freeway for 15min straight. Its been to the dealership 3 times and they've replaced the instrument cluster and seat belts or buckles and still no luck so any input would be awesome! TIA
Here is a video of it:

When those components are replaced, and sometimes when they are not - but the warning appears, the RF passenger presence system must be re calibrated.

I would find another dealer that has competent technicians.

Not sure if this makes any difference but they contacted Chrysler about it and they suggested the seat belts or whatever they supposedly replaced but have no clue about any calibration.

It also sounds like the seat sensor may be bad in the passenger side. There is a mechanism to turn off the passenger airbag if the seat senses not enough weight to be an adult. One thing this does is protect a child by not inflating the airbag in a collision. I would have that sensor replaced.

Thats what I'm thinking is the problem but they haven't said anything about it to me unless that's what they said they replaced with the seatbelts.

Hi @Sphinxj13, we certainly understand how this would be concerning! We would be happy to look into this further for you. Feel free to send our team a private message if you are in need of any additional support while addressing this concern with your dealer.
