I have a Double Din Pioneer DMH-1500NEX connected to an amp using the rca jacks. 2004 RAM. I would like to also wire up the two dash speakers to add a fuller sound. This truck had an Infinity system in it. I've tried the rotary knob that has the rca connectors, but this does not work. I believe they are for use on amps, buy tried it anyway. I have wired them directly to the wires coming off of the head unit and it does work, but is overpowering and would like to control the volume. Is there another way to do this?

Edit: I might try running the dash speakers to the amp, but would like to avoid this if possible.

Had the original infinity amp been removed? If not you either need to or connect the speakers after the infinity to the new amp. If connected from your new amp through the infinity amp that will not work.

The infinity amp has been bypassed. I'm thinking they will need to be ran to the "new" amp and joined with the front speakers. I was hoping for a gizmo that would avoid that.
