All i have literally done to scratch my dash on 2 occasions is put an envelope on the dash. Ridiculous how easy it will scratch. Burns me up. Tried several dash protection including 303 and meguires but when the sun hits it just right it stands out.

i cant be the only one with this problem. Does the heat gun really work?

Ive never experienced or heard of that being so fragile. I even use a medium bristle brush when cleaning the interior and has never damaged anything

No scratches and use a soft bristle end on my vacuum, toss glasses and other things up there. Sounds like an issue with your dash.

Use your fingernail and scratch the dash lightly. You will see scratches. Yes this is more than an envelope sliding on the dash but still it shouldnt happen
