I never searched for dash removal of a 2nd Gen

SouthMainAuto made 3 or 4 segments on how to do a Gen 3

MotorCityMechanic did the same for 4th Gen

Not the best pics, but I was in a hurry. Son has made progress. He used suede for the headliner and door panels and changed overall color from gray to black. Not sure what he has planned on seats. Still has one door panel left to do as well.

So what ever happened with this project? How did it turn out with all of that insulation? I’m currently doing some insulation myself, but afraid to coat every square inch of the surfaces that it might keep the trim pieces from clipping back in place. Particularly on the B pillars.
