So yesterday I called Dave, surprisingly he answered.
I told him if I didn't have the tune by this Sunday for the track I would be wanting my money back.
I then got in contact with Andrew from bully's.
Andrew seems like a good guy, he said he would call Dave and ask him what the deal was and get it squared away
Dave emailed me late last night with a tune finally.
But, here's what his email says:
try this.
I apologize for the delay.
should shift wot 1-2 and 2-3 at about 6000rpm
custom part throttle shift points in 'd' only, 1-2, 2-3, 3-4 and 2-1, 3-2 4-3.
did not adjust 4-5 or 5-4 as shift tables look wrong.
did nothing to 't/h' shift points cuz most of the shift tables look messed up.
this 2014 Ram tune template needs fixing in several areas, IMO. hopefully one of Diablo's tuning engineers can get on that soon.
should shift firmer.
if anything feels odd, go back to a canned tune or stock.
All of this "should do this" "should do that" talk makes me a little scared.
We will see what happens when I load it into my truck this afternoon.
Interesting. This is the same info I got from Sean(HF) and Mike(L&M). And my truck is a 2013 six speed. That they can tune WOT and 1-4 but no tuning for 4-5 and 5-6. I was asking for changes to 4-5 and 5-6 and apparently is not yet possible. I would give it a shot. Just take it easy for the first 300 miles until the truck/trans learns the new shifting patterns. You can always go back if you dont like it.
