2007.5 6.7 ram 3500 4x4 lamarie
Ok .... over a month ago my truck just died while driving....
Checked everything... couldn't connect with ecm ...
Brought it to a good local mechanic he ended up taking out ecm and sending it to an ecm repair place tha delt with dodge...
They said it had tripped and was not fried.... they reset it back to my factory VIN and sent it back and said to find out what tripped it before 500 miles or it wil possibly trip again
My mechanic installed the ecm and the truck fired right up and started going through its cycles and then shut down ....
Now the truck will start but there is no communication with ECM ....
My mechanic is waiting to hear from ecm repair place .....
Has anyone had this issue?....
What do I do?
Also someone mentioned there was class action against dodge because they had screwed up computers from 2007 to 2010 but I haven't seen anything on that ....
My next step is to bring it to the dealer .... I really don't want to do that... but I really want my truck back
