My '12 Ram 3500 has the factory tow package. Problem is the plug at the bumper is dead but all fuses in the box are good. The lever controller on the dash shows power on the screen. I'm thinking I need to look at a factory wiring diagram to run down the tow wiring plug connections.

Are you in a winter environment (cold, high moisture, snow, road salt)? Based on the description in this thread of the things you've already found and your symptom set, as well as the year of your vehicle, I'm suspecting the TIPM may be the source of the problem.

Some years the TIPMs had to be flashed.

Best regards,
Dusty

On my 2011 2500 the problem was the TIPM unit. $1600 installed and programed at the dealer.
