Looks great. thanks for the feedback and pics. The dimples should add for some good grip. I will update everyone with a release date and pricing once we know. they will have to tool up for mass production of these.

Now this, this is very nice! I'm definitely on the list of those wanting one!

I agree with some others' thoughts in that it would be nice to have a rubber (or similar type) cover on it. My main reason for this is due to my OCD.. I can just imagine going to clean this after a day in the desert or a camping trip. I'd be forever getting all the holes cleaned out and most likely go through an entire box of Q-tips! (Much like I already do with my honeycomb grille when prepping for a show.)

Thank you so very much for being the guinea pig! Here's hoping it will be available for purchase (at a reasonable price) soon! Preferably when the weather improves. Ha.

It is just a plate attached to a bracket, you can easily get to the back, and the end product will be relatively easily removable front plate to clean if you so need.

Me? I will likely never clean it unless I accidentally get poo on it.

I agree the hole would make the foot grip a bit better but I am **** lol I had to get a matching bed rails for my headache rack, Same with my pedals I want all to match or it would bug the heck out of me lol.. BUT as mentioned THANK YOU for getting this done and Tater Thank You for giving your time in the design But matching gas and brake pedals :) that would work lol

With them making it easy to remove it shouldnt be an issue removing it for a thorough cleaning if necessary which is great, especially if you get poo on it lol

Aha! Now that I look at your pictures closer, I can see how it could be made removeable. That is awesome! Anyone who details their own truck knows that it's ten times easier if you can take the part/piece out of the confines of the truck LoL

Most other dead pedal designs I've seen (whether manufactured or at home Home Depot fabrications) have always appeared to be solidly mounted in place. So thank you for pointing the plate out to me!

So yes, if the final product is designed in a way that the plate can be removed... OMG sign me up!

Do you plan to countersink the screw heads? That would be my only suggestion.

They are connector bolts so low profile.

Can't countersink, the plastic pedestal is too thin.

My Porsche dead pedal was a nicely textured billet piece, with countersunk screws. That would be nice :)

NOW that style pad is more to my liking :) BUT as mentioned counter sunk screw would give a smoother look ! But you are in the testing stage so waiting to see more :)

Also, with mine, the parking brake pedal can still go full swing. Can this one? If so, I would still like to know how mich of my fat ass it can handle being plastic....

More options on the market, the better.

What does this mount to?

Now if the one you tested can have a option with a pedal this style that would be nice :)

Its bracket bolted into the frame that holds the parking brake. Stainless rod welded to cheap steel , I know, a big no-no.

The pad is from a VW beetle. Fancy aluminum plated ones are 8 bux on eBay.
There's a frame under the pedal, but still needs powder coating before I post. My welding sucks.ca0b51da8d91b9e82bdd337faf73e16b.jpg

I do put quite a bit of weight on it to remain stable while cornering at speed, off camber while trailing, and while adjusting in my seat....so yes.

Do you not do these things?
