Dealer Oil Change Cost

My last 7 quart Pennzoil Ultra 0W-40 oil and Mopar oil filter was $67.95 plus another $5.45 tax for my parts at the local dealership, purchased back in July. I still have the filter due to have since switched to the Wix synthetic oil filters. Purchased a bunch of them recently from Rock Auto for a lower price.

Always have done it myself, even when I was working fulltime 60 hours per week job at a Dodge Dealership back in 1975, my vehicles never got serviced there.

Son just paid $130 for an oil change at a Jiffy Lube type place in North Dakota. Full synthetic. They really are ****** people up there. He also just got 4 now K02's and an alignment for $1977. They charged $220 labor to change the tires.

Oil change at my mechanics runs me about $80.00. That's filter, oil, and labor.
