Damp, packed down sand right along the water line can make things bind, if all "Locked Up". But, out in the dry, loose powder it shouldn't be a problem.

Along those lines, when just motoring around, even on the dry deep stuff, it seems to get around better in 4WD with the front unlocked and just relying on the Limited Slip rear to keep things rolling. When fully locked up, it seems to want to break through the smooth top surface and dig holes with the Lockers engaged. I only use them once I have come to a stop, and getting rolling again, even in a straight line is a challenge.

Exactly. In 4WD, one tire has to break traction to turn. With the rear locked, two tires have to break traction to turn. With front and rear locked, three have to break traction. On loose sand, “break traction” means dig.

The combo I have best luck with on sand is aired down, 4HI, traction control off, sway bar unlocked.

Been 4 wheeling for over 40 years and this is good info. Not that I haven’t been in that situation many times but for those that are somewhat new to wheelin this is some great knowledge to share.

Good Job Low Sky

If we can share info from our experience and it keeps 1 person from spending a few hours on a shovel it was worth us typing a few comments on a thread.

Again Thanks Low Sky

Some pics of the clean under carriage because it won’t stay that way for long.

The wires hanging are for the amp steps after I put Insulated connectors then put heat shrink over them

Locking Diff would have been more accurate.
Would those steps fit my 2016?
I live in Valdese, NC. Just up the road from you.

With 35’s and Amp steps installed, will have the Bushwackers on by mid week.

Shout out to Bushwacker, if you guys have them and the gasket gets worn just call them and they will send new ones out. No questions asked and regarding the flares themselves the body shop is having to repaint them base coat/clear coat so the paint will be hardened and stay on better.

They initially painted them with a dull black look to match factory colored ones and the paint could be peeled off with your fingernails.
