Not towing, 350 miles will not even move the needle. I've found that a tank of DEF will last me between 7500 and 10k miles not towing. I have a 5th Wheel camper and a 350 mile trip will use about 1/4 tank of DEF.

My normal routine is to get down to 1/4 tank then add a 2.5 gallon jug.

DEF usage for 350 miles unloaded you won't even notice. I never measured mine exactly but not towing I probably threw a 2 1/2 gallon jug in every 3000 miles? I never topped it off, just threw in a couple gallons when the low light came on.

Running with a cab over truck camper at 14k GVW and 70-75mph i get about 750 mpg of DEF. Unloaded you will be close to double that.

For a Cummins, 350 miles is a trip to the corner store.

This really depends on what year truck you have. The 2019 and later trucks will use a lot more DEF than earlier trucks.

As @loveracing1988 stated the 19 and ups use a TON of def. I was very concerned when I was coming from my 17 to my 19 and asked the dealership multiple times. Completely normal according to them and many other owners. I fill up about 3,000 miles without towing.

Getting in on this late but I just bought a 2021 1500 3.0 DSL and Im using about 2 gal per 1000 miles just an empty truck! is there an adjustment to calibrate the DEF pump ?

Agreed. Its noticeable more in the 19+ models. Im my 21' I can see the needle move just driving 70 miles unloaded.

I topped mine off in CT a few weeks ago and drove back to Florida. Just under 1400 miles. Plus running around locally for a few weeks here in Florida. So maybe 1600 miles or so total.
I used about 3/8 of a tank of DEF. Here's a pic of the gage I just took.
