It’s definitely a blast to drive! It will be awhile before I can tune it to the 800+ hp the motor is designed for. I have to beef up the rest of the drivetrain. My tuner says it’s probably putting an estimated 600+rwhp so I’m trying to take it easy on it, difficult task.I would lose my license in that thing, but I would have a lot of fun doing it. I've got a thing for RCSBs, a fast one would be a blast.
MOPAR78, is the final result of your build you've been working on for a couple of years now? It’s definitely a blast to drive! Thanks! No I've still a ways to go. I'm waiting on a new throttle body to come in. It's a Demon 170 TB 105mm. I'm right at 415,000 miles on the original front and rear end. Their holding up but I've about made up my mind when I upgrade them to switch to the 3.92 from the 3.21's that are in it now. My next planned mods are upgrading the pulley setup to an 8 rib with a smaller pulley to increase boost on the Whipple to get the designed 800+ HP out of the Demon LB. Also get the transmission and transfer case built to handle the HP. I'll pull the trigger on that once I get the Demon LB paid for. Thanks again!MOPAR78, is the final result of your build you've been working on for a couple of years now?
Oh my, that's about the nicest truck I've seen!
Wow, just no words to express my admiration.
Thank you, so this is a production truck? Thanks! No I've still a ways to go. I'm waiting on a new throttle body to come in. It's a Demon 170 TB 105mm. That's a clean looking RC SWB you have!
No, it’s not a production line. I wish it was, I would have purchased one. As mentioned above, it is a project that I have been working on for a few years now. Good thing about it is that it is different than the other Ram's and the way I would have liked to have seen them to build one. Any ways it’s a build that I envisioned and it’s been rewarding to see it come together. I have saved quite a bit of money having done all the work myself. The only problem was the PSI spring failure on the 5.7 that set me back a bit. But the bright side is that now it has a better motor in it.Thank you, so this is a production truck?
Didn't even realize this was available in this configuration, cool truck!
Oh yes, the 340 6 pack was a classic and collectible!i might be old, but when i hear demon, i think 225, or 340 if your lucky
You obviously need a new project, let's trade. lolNo, it’s not a production line. I wish it was, I would have purchased one.
