diablo t1000 question

Ok so I got a co worker that got a t1000 off eBay. The unit shows tool unmarried. We plug it into his truck and choose vehicle go through the menu 2005 ram 1500 hemi The screen goes black and each light around the buttons light up real slow but the screen never comes back just stays blacked up. What's up with that?

He tried once sat on hold for a while and gave up. Tbh he hasent put alot of effort into it and I'm thinking about buying it from him but I don't want to get screwed.

Don't know what's wrong with it, I had to deal with Diablo on a Intune I bought used. They sent codes through, changed some stuff on it and it works like a charm. I was dealing with them for a day or so. Maybe something to look into

Might need to be updated,

Download the DS_Downloader and see about if there are any updates and load them into the unit then try to hook it up to the vehicle.

Thanks for The input. If it was mine i would contact them. I don't want to put alot of effort into it as its not mine. If I buy it I'll get it figured out as long as it not locked down. For some reason.

That's not bad but He wants 250 For it and then 180 on top of that is 430 I can be in a new bully dog gt for less than that. I'm not looking for the power im looking for trans tuneing and shutting mds off. I would run on a fuel economy tune or on a tow tune honestly.

Not to mention you can by a intune for that or a t-1000 for 600 its not worth it unless it works... hopefully yall can get it to work and you xan save some coin

Ok so I got to playing around with the t1000 and I got the unmarried one in demo and the other in the when I choose a 2006 mustang gt. I'm guessing by what I have found this puppy is married to a mustang. What I don't get is why it says tool unmarried. I tried I update it and it wouldn't let me it said I need restore the back up to the vehicle I clicked the force update and it's asking me for a password and is giving me a key number sand saying contact support.

Bully dog is owned by sct and the programmer will not accept custom tunes. What going to buy it till I seen that lol

Well I have the t1000 in my hand so I'm not debating on which tuner to get

Last update called diablo and they were very helpful walked me through it. It was unmarried but I guess it had a backup file that wasent returned and needed to be rest and cleared out. The tech walked me through it and I am now in the process of updating it. Easy peasy I now have a diablo t1000 for $250 got a good deal!
