I just scored an after Christmas gift for the boys. I don’t let them operate my expensive Rupes stuff when they are learning how to work the the DA polisher. They use the Harbor Freight 21mm long throw, the Adams 15mm long throw. Now they have a CG Rotary to start learning on. 50 bucks and it was originally 279.00 and that was even on sale lol.

Wife gave me a note/coupon saying it's good to get the front windows tinted, a polish cloth, clay bar (which I mentioned to her at one point), and some 'dust polish' (not sure what that is for).

MIL gave me a rubber floor mat for the back seat. Seems a bit generic, 'trim to fit'. Haven't seen if it fits or not. Figure this might be an issue because I have a sub box that fits mostly under the back seat, but sticks out a little.

Not really.... I got some nice Bessey clamps for my shop but aside from that, socks & underwear, and a few new shirts our gift to each other is a cruise to Jamaica and the Cayman Islands. We leave in 2 weeks.

I got a 2024 Ram 2500, A couple Milwaukee tools, the lineup of Milwaukee Heated Gear, the whole ICON toolbox setup along with a 72in bottom US General box, Milwaukee portable tire inflator, and a tekton 1500pc tool set.

Well.....Christmas is over. Did Santa (or Self-Santa) bring any good tools or Garage Goodies for you this year?


Let's see.... for me I ended up receiving (for the shop):
- That Ryobi tire inflator (compressor) I posted about earlier. I've already used it a number of times. That might be one of my more used tools I buy in a while. I went back and bought one for my dad ($24.99 Home Deep-Blow). They probably still have them. They had a stack last I was there. I'm sure it's not better than than a red/yellow or blue tool, but it's real compact. For the $$ I'm loving it.
- I bought into the Bauer 20V tool system (Black Friday $79-deal) and got the impact. And then Santa got me the hand vacuum. That hand vacuum, I've gone all over the house, cleaned the walls & corners of the floor, cleaned the car floors ...and dusted around the place. That might be one of the more used tools from this year's xmas. I would have bought a Ryobi hand vac but they're about 2x more and you have to buy the attachments separately. Not sure I'll buy a lot of Bauer tools, but we'll see.
- Couple Milwaukee tools: Impact/Metal circular saw.
- 40v chainsaw Ryobi (used). That was a deal which came up. Something I wanted and needed anyway. Not really for Christmas. I have gas chainsaws, but these battery ones are definitely great for jobs they are fitted for. Works pretty well.
-Some other small doo-dads and goodies for the shop.

I wanted a Rotary Hoist and a large glass beading cabinet...but I guess there isnt enough room in santa's sleight for that stuff! (or my checkbook...at the moment!). Or maybe I just wasn't THAT good of a boy this year! LOL

What about you guys? Santa bring any goodies for your shop this yr ..or for your Ram?

Well I did get a set of Quick Jacks 7000TLX and it lifts my Ram 1500 with ease. Love these !! should of had them years ago lol.. Merry Xmas to me ...

The wife got me a 20W laser engraver as part of my Christmas. It didn't arrive on time, so she didn't tell me about it until last night. Not really a tool specific to wrenching on vehicles but I can make some cool Ram swag.

Does two weeks past Christmas count now lol. I bought myself some new Craftsman tools. Screw drivers, ratchet wrenches both standard and metric. I new set of 3 via grips, New Craftsman 1/2 impact and a new 20v lithium ion drill and 1/4 impact craftsman to replace my worn out Dewalt stuff from 2012. 2 new snap on digital torque wrenches. I also got that airbag jack, a new 2” polishers, Some bottle organizers for the wall, That Rotary came that I mentioned earlier, I also got a whole slew of Angelwax pads and polishes that I am waiting on. They have been sitting in the next city over for over a week. Not sure what is going on between UPS and USPS. They switched delivery…

When I got my wedding ring, the guy at the jewelry store asked if I wanted anything engraved on the ring. I said no thanks.

He then said he could engrave our anniversary date inside the ring. I told him he's a genius!
