Should dielectric/bulb grease be used for push-in bulbs (not threaded)? Replacing burned out license plate bulbs on our work truck (2014 F250) with LED. Thanks.

Yes, use it. It is a silicone-based and non-conductive type of grease to protect electrical connectors from corrosion, moisture, and dirt. It disrupts current flow, making it great for sealing and lubricating rubber parts of electric connections.
