I changed all the fluids out at 37000 front,rear differential and transfer case and I don't tow or off-road .I did it myself it was fairly inexpensive for the fluids and I enjoy doing my own maintenance was it absolutely necessary no but do I feel better having done it yes i will inspect it every 20000
