Difference between the Infotainment 8.4 harness and the M2Mods one?

I seem to recall reading somewhere on the forum that there was a functionality difference between the harness that Infotainment provides with their 8.4 upgrade kits and the M2Mods one. Something about the M2Mods one having a feature or enabling a feature that the InfoT one does not, but I can't seem to find the reference.

Am I remembering incorrectly or is there such a difference?

We don't build any additional functionality into ours. Infotainment started out adding an extra connector on their harness that would allow the ATC mod to be added by just plugging in an ATC harness, but they have quit adding that wiring into their harness. The only real difference between the harness is on the blower motor harness. We have made a mod to the harness that makes the install easier.
