Disappearing pics

Just got back from the dealer. I had filed a case with Chrysler and they e-mailed me to take it in to be checked. My problem: every time I copy pics to the hard drive they disappear within a day. Music, no issues, only pics. The dealer says they have yet to see this problem. He calls someone at Chrysler who tells him they are aware of it and working on a software update to fix it. Great. Why couldn't they tell me that by e-mail instead of wasting my time taking it to the dealer?

They have you go in to verify the condition. They aren't being vindictive. They need to see the truck, take down the VIN, etc...

I call BS. If someone at corporate (that's who he called) knows there is an issue that a solution is being worked on for, then all they had to do was tell me that in the e-mail they sent me instead of dragging me into a dealership that had no idea about the issue (have not yet seen one) and wasting my time and gas money. The dealer did not take my VIN down or file any paperwork. Not vindictive, just stupid.

I agree its waste of your time but there structure is probably setup that they don't want customer service people in claims calling the tech center and rather pawn you off to the dealer for then to look it over and call and get the answer.

I too have this issue
