Update: you dont need the 8.4 radio to enable auto-dimming rearview mirror and auto high beam lights just with alfaobd you can enable those features.

Looking to do this update. I currently have the 8.4 radio with dual ATC and humidity sensor. I have the manual mirror with Assist and SOS. I got a mirror with auto dim but not smartbeam. Mirror PN is 68342283AA the harness in my truck is 68374103AA
Would I need to get a new harness or would this be plug n play? If I need a new harness anyone know what the correct part number would be?

I'm not terribly familiar with that harness (68374103AA with 10 pin connector & H sensor) on the 19+ classic vs 17-18...

There's a difference between the mirror connectors of a base manual dim non Sos mirror and upgraded 8.4 mirrors of a 10 pin connector vs 14 pin connector... And I don't recall which way or goes??

Can you tell which connector the new mirror uses? Here's the 19 classic DS 4th Gen connectors. (& I don't trust the descriptions)

So I suspect your current harness should work with the new mirror.

You cant tell real good from the picture but the new mirror has a 10 pin connector.
I can pull my old mirror this weekend and see how many pins that connector has. Was hoping not to have to change the harness but if have to then have to.

Harness had the same connector as new mirror. Got it installed and setup with AlfaOBD, now have the icon on radio. Seems to be working, will take it out for a drive tonight to see if it dims.

Adding my experience here, as suggested by @Mpgrimm2, for enabling the auto dimming rear view mirror, the auto dimming high beams, and the Automatic Temperature Control (ATC).

@Mpgrimm2 helped me through the radio, climate control, and rear view mirror upgrades. I have a 2015 1500 Tradesman. It had the basic analog radio, basic rear view mirror, and the standard climate controls. I found a 911 mirror with the mics on eBay, bought the radio and ATC components through M2 Mods, and bought the factory wiring harness for the 911 mirror (p/n 68207371AD) through MoparPartsGiant.com. The factory harness has a connector for the humidity sensor.

After installing all the components, I activated the mirror, auto dimming high beam, and the Automatic Temperature Control using the following steps.

Auto Dimming High Beams
- Body Computer
-- My2015 PowerNet (choose your applicable PowerNet)
--- Car Configuration Change
---- VehConfig 1: Auto Highbeam = Yes
---- VehConfig 3: Auto Headlamp Feature Present = Yes
---- Cust.Set.Menu 1: Auto High Beam CSM Present = Yes
---- LIN and Misc: Smart Beam Present (AHBM) = Yes
---- 2014 CBC Config I/O & Feat.: Auto High Beam Module Location = ECC_AHBM

Auto Dimming Rear View Mirror
- Body Computer
-- My2015 PowerNet (choose your applicable PowerNet)
--- Car Configuration Change
---- VehConfig3: Interior EC Mirror Present = Yes

Auto Temperature Control to Single Zone ATC (requires dual zone config first. Your initial setting should be "Single Zone MTC")
- Body Computer
-- My2015 PowerNet (choose your applicable PowerNet)

---- VehConfig 3: HVAC Configuration = Dual Zone ATC

PULL RADIO FUSE NEAR BRAKE BOOSTER FOR 30 MINUTES

Hey, kinda looking for a sanity check. I'm coming from a 2017 big horn with auto dimming, humidity sensor, sos/assist.

I have on order the 68343002AA harness for a 2018 (which has smartbeam and rainsense) and 68342284AA 2018 mirror (for smartbeam)

I intend on having rainsense and smartbeam functional. My concern is that I looked at the harness in the passenger door and i see 4 wires go in and 4 wires go out. Do these sensors not need any more wires? I have yet to see a picture of the full harness.

RIP the wiring harness 68207373AD does not come with the rain sensor.

Happy to report the wires are there for Auto Highbeam to work though.

Not sure about your year/model (15 ram 1500?) or what features you were trying to add, but I don't see that part # listed in either of the first 2 posts?

68207373AD is the harness that came with my truck. I own a 2015 RAM 1500 Big Horn Ecodiesel. It has humidity sensor plug and mirror plug.

I just wanted to document that Auto Highbeam worked with my existing harness.

I swapped in a mirror from a 2014 that had auto high beam, and the rain sensor. I also just now swapped the wiring harness with the one from that truck, as it had all three plugs. Still gotta program and test if the rain sensor works.
