DIY 5.0 to 8.4 Navigation upgrade

hey question for anyone in the know I'm about to go over to my dealer this morning to have the sales code flashed into the truck for the 8.4 that i just put in . does that affect the radio in anyway i dont want to lose any functionality just to get the code everything is working well

I'm curious, which specific codes are you going to add? (i.e. RA4 and ??)

Here's a list of all sales codes for reference. I believe there are additional ones, but idk for sure.

ok went and got the dealer to add on code for the RA4 radio and was told that my current vin will be able to be used to get future updates for the radio . im going to check later was told it might take a while to get into the system .in any case it didn't cause me to lose any setting in the radio which is what i was concerned about still works great
