1/2/20 update ...

My wife tested positive for covid-19 recently and could be doing better. I'm negative for now but not feeling good. We're self quarantined as directed but will have to see how things go.

I'll work what orders I have currently, where I can, but will not take any new orders over the next week or two, or until we're both in the clear. Check back after 1/15.

HI Mp: Will keep fingers crossed for you and family's health. But can you still supply the fog light extension harness? I have a 2015 Ram 1500 Tradesman, 3.6 L, OEM lights and aftermarket bumper already in place (hit a fire hydrant with stock bumper). Would be amazing to give this vehicle something not available stock but almost all OEM so equipped.

See you went a slightly different route. Glad you got it worked out & no problem on the messages. Just had to step away for a bit.

Just wanted to let people with the earlier 4th gens (2010-2012) like myself know that MPgrimm2's foglight jumper harness will in fact work on our trucks as well. I recently contacted Mpgrimm2 about getting one of his jumpers after I heard about him from Greg A's YouTube channel.

I had already gathered up all the necessary parts to add the factory fogs to my truck and just needed that final piece he provided to finish the puzzle. Parts needed to complete the install below.

Obviously you'll need a bumper and foglights which I found on craigslist for fairly cheap off a 2011 Ram 2500 Power Wagon.

The foglight harness I found on amazon surprisingly.

part# 68046303AC

The correct headlight knob with the foglight button in the center of the dial, also on amazon.

part# 4602918AA

The fog light jumper harness I got from MPgrimm2.

He was able to get me out a jumper harness for my truck and I've already done the install with everything working great!

Most of the steps he's detailed out above in the original posts are basically the same for our trucks with the only real exception probably being the wiring locations in the harness for our TIPM Box.

He was able to provide me with the correct illustrations to A) Find the right harness to use on the TIPM B) The correct locations on the plug to place the added pins from the harness I got from him C) Hook up the ground wire for the foglights.

1.To start this project, I would recommend removing the grill and the drivers side headlight.
You only need to remove the four nuts (18MM Deep socket or wrench) on each side holding the bumper to the brackets. Two (one on each side) of them on the top are really only accessible from the top of the bumper which is why I removed the grill.

2. Once I removed the bumper and took the headlight out, I next took the Jumper Harness and hooked it into the correct harness on the TIPM. I ran the harness out the open side of the TIPM box toward the inner fender, then routed the jumper wire down the frame like shown in MPgrimm2's posts using the provided zip tie plugs to tie it in place on the frame.

3.Before bolting the new fog light bumper with fog lights already installed in it to the truck, I ran the factory fog light wiring 68046303AC inside the bumper and got it all in place. Once I had all the wires in place and tied in neatly, I bolted the bumper up to the truck and got it positioned evenly, then reinstalled my headlight and grill.

4. Next I swapped out the headlight knobs. Super simple process as shown above in the previous posts.

5. Rather than take my truck to the dealer and paying them to flash the computer, I opted to go the AlphaOBD route as I plan on doing more additions down the road. If you plan on only adding the fog lights, it'd probably be cheaper to have the dealership flash the computer instead of paying for the Alphaobd app on the google play store, buying the OBD adapter, and in my case purchasing an android tablet to use the app on because I'm an apple guy. It was as simple as changing the fog lights from not set to set in the computer of my truck though and now I have functioning factory fog lights.

I'm super happy I did this upgrade to my truck. When I first purchased my truck, the halogen headlight bulbs in my SLT headlights were terrible in the dark. You could barely see anything. I've since upgraded to LED bulbs which are so much better than the halogen bulbs, but now that I've added the foglight option its awesome. I can see so much more in front of me on those dark back roads now.

Sorry if any of this was already covered in previous posts.

Thank you MPgrimm2 and M2 MODS!

A few notes to go with the above 2009-2012 Foglights (vs 13-18/classic trucks):

See this video for how to Pin/Repin the 2009-10 & similar connectors...
- (Mak's Tipm Repair) How To Swap / Change TIPM Plug Wires & Pins

-------------- 2009 ---------------

** 2009 1500 trucks are pinned at:

On the 2009-2010, the connector will be similar to this one near the brake pedal from the camera install thread ... You need to remove the front terminal lock plate (TPA) before installing the pins, then reinstall it (to remove a pin, use a pick to release the terminal lock from the front and pull the pin it the back... With TPA removed).

@Mpgrimm2 Let me get back to you on that. I need to plug back into my truck later, I want to set my fogs to stay on when the high beams are on still. I'll try to take some pictures this afternoon when I get off work of the exact screens I went through to make the fogs work.

Here are there steps I took in AlphaOBD to turn my fog lights on.

Step 1.JPG
Obviously you want to make sure you're connected to the OBD adapter, and you've selected the correct criteria for your truck. For the Fog lights, you'll be working with the BODY COMPUTER, and you want to tap the drop down menu for 'Select Control Unit'Step 2.JPG
For the early Forth Gens you want to select the first option 'Central Gateway Module'
Step 3.JPG
On this next screen tap 'Connect' and wait til it's connected (in case that wasn't obvious)
Step 4.1.JPG
Next you'll want to tap the little red car with the hood open on the lower right corner
Step 5.JPG
Select the drop down at the top (sorry I was ahead of myself in the picture and already selected 'Car Configuration Change from the drop down as you can see above) to be continued on next post...

Continuing on...
Step 6.JPG
Select 'Car configuration Change' as I mentioned in the previous post.Step 7.JPG
A long list of options will appear, but you can just use the search option and type in 'fog' like I did to narrow down the results. You're gonna want to tap the 'Configurable Outputs: Front Fog Lamps' option at this pointStep 8.JPG
You can probably see from my picture where it says the option is 'SET' above, thats what you want it to say after you've made the change. If you didn't have fogs up to this point it should say 'NOT SET' so select the drop down and change it to 'SET' once you've done that you'll want to tap the 'next' button.
Last Step.JPG
If everything worked correctly, it should now say set under 'This option is set currently as:'

Once you've completed these steps, you're gonna want to turn your ignition off and remove your keys from the ignition for at least 30 seconds before testing it. This part is a must. You also do not want to make more than one change to your system at a time before cycling the ignition off for 30 seconds.

Little add on for you if you're like me and want your fog lights to stay on when you flip your high beams on, you follow those steps up to the part where you type in FOG in the search bar and select 'Reconfigurable Parameters: Front Fog Lamp Dropout Enable' instead to access that option. Remember you need to cycle the key between adding the fogs and changing this setting though.

Hope this helps others.

I am so happy I found this post. I just got a 2021 warlock in December and it did not come with the fog lights. I just scored the LED lights for $100 vs the $450 just need the wiring and mounting for it. I thought I was going to have to install a 3rd party switch. Will this work with my Warlock as well since its a 4th gen ram? Shoot me a PM with price please!

Yes this will work on your 4th gen. You will need to source the correct headlight switch and factory fog light harness. Contact Benny @AllMoparParts.com in the vendor section of the forum for those items. He is familiar with the mods we do and understands what you are doing. You will also need the custom made Fog Light Jumper Harness. Contact @M2mods who is also in the vendor section of the forum. He makes and sells this harness. After it's all installed you will need the Alfa tool to enable all the correct codes. Since your truck is newer than 2017 you will also need a bypass harness in order for the Alfa tool to communicate with your truck. This is a simple harness that plugs in between your trucks OBD port and BCM. It can easily be installed and removed or just left in for future changes. You would get this from KaodTech.com.
