With me in it and 1/2 tank of fuel it weighed about 7250 so that leaves me with 2750. I weigh 270.

Mine says 2973. Your 30% might be for a regular cab or Tradesman but you're off by about 300lbs

30% of 3,000 is ...

No. I initially said my payload was about 3000 and you said I was 30% off. My payload is actually 2973 so I was about 1% off

And 30% of 3000 is about 1000

Those numbers are wrong. You need to go by the yellow sticker. You are looking at a regular cab 2WD. That truck weighs much less than mine. You need to go down to page 3 to find CC SB 4x4. That one says 3300 but that is likely a stripped down model. My yellow sticker says 2973 and that is specific to my truck.

I see yours is a 4x4 so that pdf you posted isn't accurate for yours either regardless of which cab you have. If you have a CC you are likely right about the same as me give or take about 100lbs

Your Hemi can indeed pull that weight but that won't be the issue.

It's always the 1500's payload that becomes marginal with bigger trailers.
Tounge weight, hitch, cargo in bed and passengers usually dissolve the half-tons payload.

A 2500 with the same engine has double the payload.....it's suspension can handle twice the weight.

You may be ok but I'm betting you're really close with a 30 footer and a good WDH is paramount.

Agreed! My 1500 could pull, the weight, but it pitched and rolled. I bought a 2019 RAM 2500. No more pith
Okay, I have the new 1500 bighorn 2019 with 3.92 gears 8 speed and 5.7 hemi, also my Toy hauler is a 2020 coachman catalina trail blazer rated at max weight 7900lbs. the trailer dry is 5490lbs. with the bike and all stuff in side we are at about 7000lbs. My WDH is a 4 point sway with 1000/10,000. I am thinking this truck will handle the trailer, I am just not looking to upgrade my truck yet! I forgot to mention the trailer is 29' 10"

My 1500 could pull the weight of my toyhauler, but it pitched and rolled. I bought a 2019 RAM 2500. No more pitch and roll.

Pitch and roll could have meant you needed all or some of:
a good weight distribution hitch with anti sway bars
inflated truck and TT tires properly
shocks on truck or TT
slow down - driving too fast for TT design

This all assumes you within your weight limits.
