Do I need to reset airbag module before applying power?

Bought a totaled 2017 RAM 1500 4WD. I rebuilt the truck and will soon be able to install new battery and light it up... Can I reset the module in place? or do I need to send it out for reset? I just want to make sure it does not still try to deploy the new airbags... Hoping I can have the truck in on position and reset thru OBD connector using the right scan-tool. Will re-program for new key FOBs at the same time

I sent the Occupant Restraint Control Module out to teh safety restore to get reset and so far so good.
