does anyone know if the 6112s and the springs that come with them settle?

if so, how much do they settle?

i prebuilt my 6112s saturday to make the swap quicker when i go to put them on. i set them at the 2.8 inch lift setting.

my truck measurements stock is front 36 driver and 36 3/8 on passenger side.

the rear is 39 3/8 driver and 39 1/4 passenger.

wondering if the fronts will settle a little bit or if i should set to 2.1 inch.

thanks

I would set them at 2” that will give you the level appearance. Yes they will settle over time but not much.

They should all settle some. with 2.8 front you'll want at least 1-1.5" lift in th back as well, so prob good idea to set them one notch down if you plan to keep your rear at factory height.

I had the old 6112’s set at 2.6” lift. They settled at just about 2” which was a little disappointing. Considering I put their rear springs and shocks on also. Fronts fender well went from 36.5 to 38.5. Rears were 39.25 and went to 40.
