Dodge or RAM ?

I just hate it when I am looking for the vehicle fit, scroll all the way down looking for Ram, then find it is not there and have to scroll back up to select Dodge.

My last Ram was a 2002, which was the first year for the 3rd generation body style. Back in the early 2000s a lot of parts sites "confused" the 2002 Gen 3 Rams with the older Gen 2 Rams. It was pretty confusing for a while. Thankfully, it got better with time.

That was because 2002’s where both 2nd Gen and 3rd Gen, it was a cutover year. I have no idea how parts places are supposed to keep up with all the manufacturer inconsistencies.

I just got the paperwork to renew the tags on my new 2017. The Idaho paper work calls it a Dodge Pickup..... figures... Before this, I had a GMC Yukon and I used to hate it when people called it a Tahoe. I'd be like, do you see any bow ties on it?

Must be a north thing, I live on NC and it's listed as Ram on my registration.

If they should happen to bring the Dakota back I wonder if it would be a Dodge Dakota or a Ram Dakota.
